This house is located near the docklands in Ijburg. The intervention is aimed to change the floorplans functions and layout within the house, with a volume extension covering the old terrace, to create more space and allow more light into the interior. A sliding window is added with a double purpose: a skylight to the interior and a stairway leading to the new usable roof as a terrace. This gives a new makeover to the interiors and adds a new plan to the skyline of the nearby surroundings.
