This building in Zeist, near Utrecht was originally a real estate agency , with offices on the first floor and an attic as storage.
The client wanted to change the program of the building and make a shop on the ground floor and an apartments on the first floor and attic.
The challenge in this project was to create a pleasing but economical new façade for the shop on the ground floor and enough space for two apartments

In the interior the old walls were removed and a new staircase was designed. To create extra space an extension was fitted on the top floor.
